My generator has a red light what does that mean?

When you see a red light on your generator, it's a critical warning. It indicates a fault or issue that will prevent the unit from operating and providing power during an outage. This means your generator is currently non-operational and cannot be relied on to start automatically.

To ensure your home remains protected, we recommend scheduling a professional inspection immediately. Our technicians can diagnose the specific cause of the red light and perform the necessary repairs to restore your generator's reliability.

However, A yellow light on your generator typically indicates a less urgent issue, such as a service alert or a maintenance reminder. While your generator will still function if needed, this warning light is a signal that it's due for preventative maintenance.

Addressing this promptly ensures your unit remains in top condition and will be ready to perform reliably during the next power outage. Contact us to have your maintenance completed and keep your generator ready for anything.
